Great car mount, poor glue

Had this mount in my car for 6 months, very happy with it. Unfortunately, when summer came with the first hot days the double sided glue strip came loose. As did the second strip that came with the holder. Pity, with an otherwise great product - the best car mount I have had so far.

I bought the car mount with the grill hooks and no charging.
I regret not getting the charging, but even so, this has been an excellent experience.
I can easily snap my phone to the car mount and pull it off without the car mount just falling off or wobbling or breaking - all of which has happened to me with other mounts. And, you can adjust it to whatever angle and it just stays there.
I think you probably need to use the peak design case for an excellent hold though. (I'm using Pixel 6 Pro). Performance might be a bit poor without it - the cases have extra magnets in them. Conceivably some other magsafe case might also do the trick, but I wouldn't try to do it with a naked phone - it's too slippery and magnets are weaker. I've used this on rough dirt roads (with the case) and had zero slippage.

Will Buy a Another!

This magnetic car mount is excellent. It works with or without a Peak Design Case. So other people who use my car can attach their iPhones securely with ease. It's so convenient I plan to get another for my minivan. PS: It includes an extra adhesive pad for future reattachment to another vehicle.

Have been using the car mount for about 6 months and the quality has remained completely top notch. Charging works great, stickiness has not faded, and no major blemishes or wear except for what would be normal.

Solid car mount with strong magnet.

Tried a few other ones before landing on the PD car mount. Works seamlessly with the PD phone case and the magnet is super strong and secures your phone wherever you mount. The flexible adhesive mount gives plenty of options to allow you to stick the mount in a variety of locations and it is a solid hold.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This car mount protects your phone

I have two of these car mounts in my ute. I use one to which is powered at eye height when I need to follow maps but on hot days this can make the phone hot so I have also purchased a not powered mount to keep my phone out of the sun. They are easy to install if you make sure you allow 24 hours before first use. The design is great and just works.
