Won’t work on a tesla

I mistakenly thought this would fit my tesla Model Y. It does not and cannot.

Does everything you need

Install with care to follow instructions! The info booklet makes clear that this is a 24 hour install and temperature is important. I was a little intimidated by the requirements installing in early spring, but I waited for a warm day and got it installed. My chosen spot was on the empty space of my car's screen, the included cable clips sit nicely in a few spots and the rest of the cord wrapped around the base. It would be nice if the cable management was a little more tidy, but it works; the cable is longer than I needed, so this gives more options for where to put the charger.
Phone attaches securely even for spirited driving. Phone projection and charging can make the phone overheat, so getting the phone into open space near a vent is helpful for better performance (at least this was my intention). I love not having to plug the phone in and just plonk it on the charger.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Neat and minimal - Like an OEM part

Honestly, this car phone mount has brought me disproportionate pleasure. It looks so neat and minimal in my car... Almost like an OEM part, it was easy to install, and it charges and holds the phone securely... So good I went and bought the Peak Design phone holder for my motorbike... Equally good, by the way!

Simply the best car mount charger

This is the best car mount charger - full stop. I've tested at least five others from reputable companies to FaceBook marketing promises. Peak Design just makes the best. I had the adhesive fail after about 2 1/2 years and they sent me new adhesive pads and cord clips promptly. I purchased the vent clip version for my father and my girlfriend and again, best design for a vent clip charger. One recommendation: use with the peak design phone case because the magnets are stronger. Also... the peak design phone cases are the best I've tested, so it's a win-win.

Slow charger. I thought Qi2 was fast

This thing barely charges. iPhone 16 says “slow charger” when charging. Mount could also be designed to more 360^ tilt.

I purchased this a month ago and I am enjoying it. The phone connection is very good …… easy to remove and attach phone. There needs to be some research done for attaching to a slightly curved surface. I had difficulty in getting it to a secure bond. Used a heavy weight and clamp for 72 hrs.

Perfect for a small car

H1 car mount because the vents in my car were not accommodating of the vent mount. I love this car mount. It allows me to place my phone in a visible spot and to charge it while I’m driving. The stickiness is perfect to attach it to a smooth part of the dash and the ball joint allows me to position the phone. It’s a great Peak device!
