When I first installed this unit, it didn't really stick well and I was almost immediately disappointed. However, it ships with another sticky pad, so I tried it again, waited another 24 hours for it to cure, and it worked really really well. It's well built, streamlined, low profile, and really works well to keep your phone in place. Mine is not the charging model (I have to use my USB port for Android Auto), but I'm confident that if the attachment method is the same, it will work just as well in terms of positioning your phone and keeping it in place even during spirited driving sessions. The price is maybe a *touch* expensive for what it is, but it seems to be in line with other, similar products.

Sleek and functional

Switched from a mount that goes in the CD player to this magnetic mount and it frees us so much visual real estate on the dashboard. Swivel is strong and magnet is stronger. Very happy I made the switch.

Car mount equals added safety

I i’ve gone through several car attachments for my cell phone that did not work out very well. Although other manufacturers are trying to accomplish the same thing as peak design, your products quality materials craftsmanship and design I really would sell the part. So very happy with all of your products especially the car mount

Loving it so far

Loving the car mount so far. Waited 24 hours as directed (don't try to install it last-minute before a trip!) and it has been very stable. The magnet attach system is very strong, but no so strong that you feel like you're pulling the mount off the dashboard.

Dash Mount

Before I invested into the Peak System, I had a Vent Mount Phone Holder that was Magnetic and you had to stick a Metal Plate in your Case to make it stick. It worked OK but the Mount was a bit flimsy and would bounce a bit on rough roads. Enter Peak Design System and my New Case locks Solid into this Mount and I can locate it anywhere on my Dash.

I bought this along with the case for my pixel, and I'm so happy that we now have a car mount that i can use as well as my wife. Long gone are the days of having to put a piece of metal in your case or a spring loaded claw that breaks after a few uses. Awesome product! Also comes with spare adhesive for the future. Definitely a product that will last a long time.

Easy to install, works great, solid connection

I have the version that charges wirelessly. It was easy to install and I'm very happy with both the rate of the wireless charge and the solid connection of the magnets with using the PD case. With using the case it's nice that the phone orientates itself when you mount it unlike cheaper mount and case combos I've used where the phone will spin or have a weak magnet and fall off when going over speed bumps or pot holes.
