Works but there is better

It’s small, good looking and works with PD mobile line. But, PD choose to make only one connecting mechanism ( to the car ) and that is by sticky type, not the best choose in my opinion .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for the feedback! We just released a 1" Ball adapter that works with a variety of 3rd party mounting systems (suction cups, vent mounts, etc) if the sticky VHB mount is not a great fit for you. We do also have a vent mount in development, so stay tuned for that!

This has lived on the dash of my car for several months. It just makes life easier.
Magnets are excellent, very well calibrated. Not to difficult to detach, no chance of my phone falling off.
It just works, an easy recommendation.

Bought this car Mount two weeks ago, still impressed every time I place my phone anywhere near its general direction…. The magnets are super impressive!

Strong, high quality mount

The mount provides a great mounting point with a strong connection and consistent charging. Only drawback is that I would like an option for a longer "arm" to position the mount itself further from the dashboard. With larger phones like the iPhone 13 Pro Max, in some cars the phone will be angled up away from the driver because of the short mount arm.

Great Once Receiving Replacement

The first version I received had a curved base. Every time I put this on my dash, it pulled itself off because it was cupped. I emailed them and they tried to resolve it the firs time and then sent out a new version the second time. The second time, the base was completely flat. It works perfectly!! As a business owner, I'm not mad that the first version didn't work. I know that sometimes stuff isn't 100%. To me, it's how you handle the problem. Peak Design stood up and handled it perfectly!!

What I love about this car mount the most? It's rock solid and my phone feels like it's glued to the mount. The security of the connection is ideal for landscape orientation turn by turn directions. This is easily the highest quality mount and charger I've ever purchased. Highly recommended.

Got this as my iPhone would never fit properly on any mount. This mount has really good 3M adhesive and it is very sturdy.

Good charger, but keep it out of the sun

Update to a review I'd left previously. The charging car mount is a solid piece of equipment -- it feels sturdy and well-built, and I have no concerns about it falling from where it's mounted thanks to the adhesive strip. The 12V charger provides enough power to give my iPhone 12 mini a respectable charge, even when streaming music and navigating with GPS. However, I strongly recommend against mounting it on the dashboard if you live somewhere hot and sunny -- owing to its dark color and metal exterior, this thing gets mighty hot, and your phone will too if it's exposed. Definitely find a spot on the center console, preferably where it can get some air, if that's the case. Once I did that, the mount worked beautifully. No more fiddling with cables or having an air vent blocked by a mount -- this thing does the job.
