What an upgrade from a vent mount/clip. Goes virtually anywhere in my car & is stylish & sleek! Wife immediately said she wants one like it

Using it to replace my custom mount setup in my car for my old Nexus 6. The Peak design car mount is very well built and has a very nice finish, super solid feel and looks great. Installation is easy, it has a very small foot print when installed and can look great installed, unlike many other mounts that are creaky/cheap plastic junk barely hanging off your vent or dashboard or windshield taking up a lot of space that don't charge.
I do wish there were a couple more adjustment options for the base/stem to get things in to just the right position, even a longer stem could be nice. A car mount compatible with something like the Garmin ball mounting system would be amazing and open up a lot of possibilities.

Perfect location

I found the perfect spot in my vehicle for this phone Mount. I snap my phone on and it is never lost on the floor or below the seat. Easy to see and access. Much safer to use.

Works but there is better

It’s small, good looking and works with PD mobile line. But, PD choose to make only one connecting mechanism ( to the car ) and that is by sticky type, not the best choose in my opinion .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for the feedback! We just released a 1" Ball adapter that works with a variety of 3rd party mounting systems (suction cups, vent mounts, etc) if the sticky VHB mount is not a great fit for you. We do also have a vent mount in development, so stay tuned for that!

This has lived on the dash of my car for several months. It just makes life easier.
Magnets are excellent, very well calibrated. Not to difficult to detach, no chance of my phone falling off.
It just works, an easy recommendation.

Bought this car Mount two weeks ago, still impressed every time I place my phone anywhere near its general direction…. The magnets are super impressive!

Strong, high quality mount

The mount provides a great mounting point with a strong connection and consistent charging. Only drawback is that I would like an option for a longer "arm" to position the mount itself further from the dashboard. With larger phones like the iPhone 13 Pro Max, in some cars the phone will be angled up away from the driver because of the short mount arm.

Great Once Receiving Replacement

The first version I received had a curved base. Every time I put this on my dash, it pulled itself off because it was cupped. I emailed them and they tried to resolve it the firs time and then sent out a new version the second time. The second time, the base was completely flat. It works perfectly!! As a business owner, I'm not mad that the first version didn't work. I know that sometimes stuff isn't 100%. To me, it's how you handle the problem. Peak Design stood up and handled it perfectly!!
