Love my car mount! After trying to “man through it” and not read the directions I failed the first adhesive. Reading is a critical skill, kids.

Phone Stays Mounted Even On Turns!

Once I purchased the iPhone 13 Pro case with finger loop that opened up a new world of other mobile accessories from Peak Design. :) I needed a car mount and didn't want something attached to my windshield or dashboard and vent car mounts didn't seem to hold well. This Peak Design car mount keeps my iPhone secure no matter where I drive. It is a nice feeling to know when I go over bumps or make turns I don't have to hold the phone just in case like with other products prior.
I will admit finding a place to install the car mount in my 2004 Lexus RX330 was somewhat challenging. Since I didn't want it on the vinyl dashboard I had to get creative and found a small area above the radio where this mount fit. Granted it is covering up part of the word Passenger but not a big deal. I am sure newer cars probably have more options where to place this car mount but my determination to find that perfect place in my car worked out.
I had debated purchasing this product due to mixed reviews but I am so glad I took a chance. It has worked out perfectly so far. Such a good feeling knowing my iPhone is secure and won't fly off. To remove I lift the bottom of the phone up and phone comes off easily. The magnet is strong and secure and what I needed. Plus in California you aren't allowed to hold your cell phone in the car so this also saves me from possibly getting a ticket!
A win/win in my book!

I bought two of these for both of my vehicles. I love the product overall, but it was difficult for me to find a good spot for the mount in both cars. I wish the mount had more or different mounting options, because the sticky thing really didn’t cut it. It also kind of forces you to buy one for any vehicle you want want in, instead of just swapping it over.

Great Mount

I got this mount (without charging) to my Tesla and a trip to Colorado and it did not disappoint. Holds my phone firmly, exactly where I want it. Stays put on the dashboard, too, even though the surface is not completely smooth. I plan on getting a second for the passenger.

Found the perfect car mount/charger

After years of buying car mounts for my Toyota Highlander I’ve finally found one that I consider perfect. It’s well built and works with the peak design case though I haven’t tried it with a different case. The design of the ball mount is also perfect with enough resistance to prevent accidentally moving via the bumps in the road. And so far it hasn’t caused my iPhone 13 to overheat when charging.

Brilliantly Designed Accessory

Like every product in the mobile category, it is wonderfully designed for beauty and utility. Every time I get in my car, I hook my phone securely on the car mount without even looking. It integrates nicely on the center console. The phone has never fallen from the car mount despite the horrible roads we have in Quebec!

Best phone mount I’ve used

I’ve been using magnetic car phone mounts for a long time. While they’re very easy to use, I’ve never had one that I could trust to not fall off if the road was anything less than smooth. Since Peak Design’s mount and case are designed to work together, the strong magnets perfectly align and the bond is very secure. After using it for about a month now, I’m very confident my phone will stay attached. I was hesitant to pay this much for a phone mount and case, but I’m very glad I did. There’s something enjoyable in daily using something that’s well designed and high quality. You get what you pay for.
