I have had 3 car dash mounts before I bought the PD car mount. Paired with the Iphone mobile case with the magnet inside, my phone is EXTREMELY SECURE. Such a great duo.

Being able to charge my phone on this charger has changed my life. I no longer worry about using Google Maps all the way to a 3-hour destination and not having a charge. And the charger is so cool! The phone can mount long or sideways and it just snaps in! The cord running to the cigarette lighter has clips to keep it where it should be. It is really fantastic.

I love the product but the base didn’t fit anywhere in my vehicle I have a Tacoma and I had to modify the base to find a place to put it but the magnet part of it will definitely hold your phone while off-roading.

This product is amazing. I was looking everywhere for a MagSafe car charger that could be mounted below the vents. This was an incredibly difficult thing to find. I’m so glad I found this company! This product is sturdy, well built, and beautiful. The mounting is strong, and it works just as expected. I love it!

Hands down the simplest and most reliable car mount I have used yet. I started with a camera bag and each product proves to be as good as the last purchase if not better!

Works but not flawless

I got the charging version. It's just as solid as any other accessory where it grips firmly. It charges well, pivots smoothly and then holds where you left it. So there it's better than other mounts I've had, that end up drooping either quickly or over time on the drive with bumps and stuff. Unfortunately the arm isn't really long enough so you're pretty limited in where you can mount it in a car and still be able to choose both horizontal and vertical mounting. If you're certain you'll only use one orientation then you have more options. This led us to mount it in a less than ideal location, way up on the dashboard. It's plenty visible and still within reach up there, but it's fully exposed to the sun all the time, as well as defrosting/heating if that's on. So between that and the black color of the mount and the case (and the dashboard) it gets very hot and the phone overheats and shuts down. This has actually happened every time we've used it on a drive so far. If the arm were longer we could've put it more in the cabin and regulated the temperature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
