Holds phone securely

The magnetic mount holds the Peak Design case securely, and the adhesive affixes to the dashboard edge very firmly. I mounted mine where most people will, at the edge of the dashboard right below the rear view mirror. I wish the stem arm were a bit longer, maybe 1/2" or so, in order to put the mounting plate further away from dash buttons and vent features that are hard avoid when looking for a good place to mount. As it is, the phone has to sit at best about a 45 degree angle and it would be better if one could adjust the phone to be more vertical, which a slightly longer stem arm would allow. As it is, the screen can reflect some glare through the windshield on a sunny day because of the shallow mounting angle.

Bringing my car up to date

I bought the charging car mount and while choosing where to actually stick this semi-permanent stand was slightly nerve-wracking now that it’s installed it has completely changed how I use my phone in the car. I totally love it and having up to date mapping, easy access to voice assistants and quick access to music streaming services to play over Bluetooth makes driving a completely different experience.
The stand itself is very unobtrusive but clearly beautifully made with good attention to detail. The supplied cable and adaptor were just right and while the number of cable tidying clips provided wasn’t quite enough, the speed at which customer service got me some additional ones at no extra cost kept me from deducting a star.
Very happy customer.

It’s ok

The mount itself is ok. I have a hard time finding a flat enough surface in the right orientation for the mount to stick to. It could just be an issue for my specific vehicles, but I am not quite thrilled with the mount. I am still working on it. The quality is good though.

Absolutely great

I have used this phone mount for like a month now. And is has been absolutely great. I use it with both the Peak Design case and with other brand cases / without a case, and the phone just won’t come off. I have the experience, with other magnetic car mounts, that the pad falls off or the magnets aren’t strong enough. Not with this boy. The magnets are plenty strong, in my experience even stronger then the magsafe magnets in Apple/3rd party cases.
Overall, the best phone holder you can buy and for me the best car accessory I bought in a long time. It makes my rides betters. It even shows the magsafe charging animation and sound when you snap your phone on it!
I use it with the iPhone 12 Pro and the model with the build in charger.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Simple, clean, functional

I got this mount as a gift for Christmas and paired with the case I bought it just works so well. Magnets are really strong even on bumpy roads. And I can do landscape which I couldn’t do with my old mount. While all charting my phone. It’s also neat that they care about wire management. Didn’t expect the see the little wire holders. Great plus.

Great for Newer Cars

I have an old vehicle (2001) and after I got the mount I realized how curvy and smooth the lines were on the interior of the car. I had a hard time finding a good spot for the mount. Eventually I found one spot that would work, but that was the only spot it would work. I realized after looking at more and more cars, that newer car interiors have sharper more crisp lines in them allowing more options and places where this car mount could work.

Bomb Car Mount

I got this for a birthday gift in January and absolutely love it. You can view horizontal and vertical and it never comes off or moves at all, even on the bumpiest of roads. Best mount I have ever used, and I've had about 6 different ones.

Almost perfect!

I love this mount. It just didn't work for my car. The bases actually fairly big which probably gives it the strength it needs, but a smaller base would make it more versatile when mounting on the dash areas.
