Thius product just rocks

In summary its a great product - I have always been a fan of those long suction mounts so initially i was a bit skeptical - but this minimalistic car mount rocks. I have the charging one which charges instantly and stays on. My main fear was car vibrations - I thought being minimalistic it would wobble on uneven roads but nope it stayed on and didnt shake on uneven roads or on speed bumps. Good work guys.

Awesome - with a HUGE caveat

I bought both the charging mount and the non-charging mount and have the same pros and cons for each. Pros: Overall, it's an excellent mount, solid connection to the PD case, and has good connection for the admittedly bulky S21Ultra. It has a small profile, so the mount itself doesn't intrude on anything on the dash (radio, etc).
Cons: Here's where I'm pretty disappointed with the usually thoroughly-thought-out designs PD come up with - the mount is essentially permanently mounted to a single vehicle. The connection to the car is a square of 3M adhesive pad attached to the dash. I have multiple vehicles I want to be able to use this in, including rentals, and a permanently attached mount is the anthesis of PD's usual mobile and travel-friendly products. Additionally, the ball joint for the attachment seems to be manufactured to be permanent, so moving just the charging pad from different mounting arms is not an option. I worked around by attaching a high quality magnetic plate with the PD adhesive, and then use a generic anchored magnetic vent clip (which coincidentally DOESN'T have a good connection with the PD case).
PD's next project needs to be some type of vent clip adaptor for the magnetic mounts for people who change cars when they travel. Until there's a travel-friendly option, I probably wouldn't enthusiastically recommend this car mount.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've used the charging, magnetic car mount daily and on several long trips (4-6 hours) in the last month. It is super convenient for quick trips and keeping my phone charged while using GPS.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hold tight!

Bought the charging mount, magnet holds phone (S21 Ultra) very securely, hasn't slipped once in 3 weeks of use. Mounted phone low and out of the way so it's not a distraction, can now stream Netflix stand-up comedy in-car and can't see the screen
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sleep design and strong magnet

I've been using this for a few weeks now and really like the sleek design. The magnet is also very strong, so I don't worry about my phone slipping off. The one interesting thing is that the mount plate is curved at the end, so it doesn't lay flush on the dashboard surface where I stuck it. This doesn't seem to be affecting the adhesiveness though.
