Great mount - Stable and low-profile

I have been using this with the Peak Design Case for my Pixel 7 pro and it is very solid. My previous mounts shook and came out a little too far making them too close to the side controls next to the steering wheel of my car. This sits close to the vent and has great stability!

Great Design Held Back by Vehicle Vent Variations

I was hoping to use this on one of the front mounts for my BMW X5. However these vents have multiple options to adjust the airflow. So I had to use a side vent near the door as these had simple slots which would provide a much more secure fit.
It will still work fine, just not where I was hoping to install this.
Also, I previously had the Peak Design Car Mount which uses a double backed adhesive. I have reinstalled this 3 times with new adhesive as heat causes it to come off the dash.

Bought this 2 months ago for my husband along with the everyday case so its compatible. A car vent mount never looked so stylish. Excellent. And the grip is just right for us.

Excellent Mount

It’s the best, bar none, just be careful not to over extend the claw or you’ll have to use a very tiny bit to back out a set screw. I have an F150 and the claw needs to be extended near the max, be careful, the mount is worth every penny, doesn’t block the vent and is super sturdy.

It is wonderful to finally have a car mount that actually works. Thank you! If anything could be changed, I'd suggest that you put ridges or knurls on the round pieces that turn to make it easier to tighten them.

Hoping Gen2 is Better

The sliding top vent hook broke during the first application; it absolutely NEEDS to be made out of metal. Installation was quick and easy, the mount holds on to my phone very well. However, as soon as I got to the office and removed the mount from the vent (I don't want to leave it in and entice a would-be burglar), the toothed part of the hook would not fully retract, so the second time I went to install it in the vent, it no longer closed fully enough to engage with the vent.
A tiny inner feature made of plastic had snapped off and caught in the internal threads. Once removed, it worked again, but now I have to be careful every time I install it not to let it travel too far out, or the threaded hook part might fall out and into the vent and lost.
Overall I liked the appearance and application of the product, but I'm going to tell my friends to hold off on buying one until the design gets a refresh.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
