Best phone mount ever!

Have had the vent mount a couple weeks, it is the best. It mounts my F150’s vent like it is part of the truck. It doesn’t block the air flow, it doesn’t try to close the vent, the vent in fact still works. The iphone is held in place solid. It is charging while in place, you hardly see the charging cable with the clips that come with the mount. The mount locks in place so the phone looks like part of the truck console. This is by far the best phone mount I have ever used, I recommend this product to everyone.

Amazing fit/finish, but...

I've never seen such a quality vent mount. The fit/finish and engineering were truly impressive. Unfortunately, it didn't work in my car. I have a Mazda CX-5 and the air vent is a bit recessed. Therefore, there is a small lip that sticks out past the vent. The bracket on the mount would hit the vent so you couldn't adjust the vent up or down. For this reason, I had to return it.

Best Car Mount for Stability and Small Form Factor

I have gone through multiple higher quality mounts for vehicle vent mounting and this is by far the best. I love the build quality, the way the knobs allow you to finely adjust it, and how it takes up very little space on the dash. It is rock solid and my phone doesn’t move at all! I am currently using their case so not sure if it’s just as strong with another MagSafe case, but with their case it will not fall off no matter how hard I drive.

Good quality but limited vent adjustment

I love Peak Design phone mounts but the vent mount did not work for my application. Used on my 2017 4Runner and it limited the up and down adjustment for airflow. Not the fault of the mount as it well made and designed just limits the vent air adjustment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great mount, one minor quible

The mount is stout and feels sturdy with all metal construction. The only minor issue so far is the tilt range of the phone mount itself once the phone is attached. The phone cannot tilt downward as much as I would like due to the phone hitting the tension adjustment knob. The angle is not a deal breaker and the mount holds the phone well even over bumps that would make my previous mount fail and drop the phone.

Great phone mount with one major flaw!

The rotating arm isn’t long enough to keep your phone away from the vent.
That being said, this is incredibly secure with two mounting points on your vent. The magnet hold for MagSafe phones is incredibly strong, and I haven’t felt like the my phone will ever fall off.
The rotating arm not being longer is a big deal though, especially when you live in a state that has colder temps 4-5 months out of the year. Getting a warning that your phone is too hot to charge because the heat from the vent is hitting your phone reduces the usefulness of the mount.
I absolutely like the holder, but because the issue of still having my phone covering the vent persist I can’t say that I love it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
