Solid grip - no slips!

Bought this for my car (obviously) which I take out to access backcountry trails and campsites on rough gravel roads. I’ve had other magnet mounts (not mag-safe) that worked okay but, would eventually slip and my phone would fall on gravel roads or rough railroad crossings. This vent mount has worked flawlessly so far! Love the fact that I’m not blocking my vents either. Biggest flaw is the charging capability so far. To be fair I’m not using the included charging cable as I use a Bluetooth to FM radio plug-in in my rig for music which only has USB-A connections which is likely why the charging is so slow. May have to consider getting a new plug-in for faster charging. Still, would definitely recommend the vent mount!

Just a couple of days in, but I am extremely happy with the car vent mount. Easy to install and feels very secure! Finally save driving! Works excellent with the Peak Design iPhone case.

Solid build

My latest edition since I bought the phone case and motorbike mount, which were both great. This new car mount fitted on to my air vent securely, and my phone pops on firmly every time, and never falls off (however many speed bumps I go over). Very solidly built, much better quality than previous cheap plastic ones. A convert!

Fit and finish are fantastic as always expected from PD. Only problem is my even when fully cranked (like as far as I can) down the arm to the phone still slips from its position. The MagSafe is also a bit weak. I use a Pelican MagSafe case and my iPhone 15 pro comes right off with just a little bump when reaching for a button. Not sure these things area PD problem, but for the money I wanted the phone solidly in place.

Great idea but not there yet

I’m giving this two stars for the idea, design, and overall quality. The real issue is the cost—it's far too high for something that’s difficult to install and struggles with stability. If you tighten it past the red marking, that’s it; you can’t go any further/Tighten, and the whole thing becomes loose and unstable. The hook really should have a rubber coating to keep it from shifting around. I ended up returning it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve bought loads of different car phone holders and they’ve all failed! This product is the best. It took a little effort to get it to fit correctly as I had the same issue others have had but if you look at your vents one usually has a small cutout for adjustment and that’s the vent the locking arm hooks behind. Perfectly engineered 5 stars. Keep the great products coming please 🙏🏻
