[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It came time to replace our chest freezer that we had since 1982. We chose this 13 cu ft Frigidaire upright freezer. We love the upright model!! You can can see everything. No surprises like at the bottom of our former chest freezer. Ample storage. Very quiet. Nice to have the feature of the green light glowing at the bottom - indicates that it's working & door is closed.

Freeze is the Word!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the years my wife and I have had a number of freezers. This one is the best. I picked it up at the local hardware store, brought it home and switched the door hinges.
It sits in a utility room close to a floor drain. With a few block shims it leveled out real nice.
The light to show it working makes a great night light in our utility room. Also, the door storage made my wife happy and there is no problem getting it real cold in there.
Must say, we are both happy and especially me because my dear wife is fussy about keeping her food safe!

Great freezer

It lights up beautifully when you open the door. It's made to be in the garage so it doesn't run as long because it's based on the outside temperature. Be it too cold or too hot? It keeps it great. Temperature and everything inside stays nice and frozen.
