The internal design maximizes our storage capability and the light placement is just right for illuminating the interior. Its great to have the operating light it would be hard to know if it was working because it is so quiet.

Nice Design, Holds alot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced our 30yr old 19 cu.ft. and found this 13 cu.ft. almost holds as much. Having the cold air circulated to freeze goods is much more efficient than our old "coils in the shelves" freezer. This freezer takes up less space than the old and doesn't have coils hanging off the back. It's quiet. The "door ajar" alarm is a great feature, as from time to time when when in the past I have left the door ajar, I wouldn't discover it for hours. Now that will never happen again. Interestingly, the green running light at the front base of the fridge exterior, makes a great night light for navigating the kitchen in the dark. It's very bright. Bonus hint - My wife puts everything in baskets. It keeps packages from sliding off a pile of goods when you open the door, and you can quickly identify the meat basket, the veg basket, the fruit basket, etc. She's very organized.
