New 13 cu ft garage ready standup freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer does exactly what it is suppose to do. I have it in my garage in Arizona and the garage heats up during the summer. I replaced my ancient Sears Kenmore 5 cu ft chest freezer I've had for 30 years. It held up well but I wanted to upgrade to an upright. It makes a very good seal in fact I need to put my hand on the top of the freezer, or side, so when I open the door the freezer doesn't move; the seal is very very good. It's probably more freezer than I need but it is a very good freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had the freezer for about 3 weeks now, all is well, however I must caution you, we had a 7 cubic ft chest freezer that was full, that’s why we had to upgrade to this 13 Cu Ft upright freezer, once we emptied the contents of the chest freezer to the upright freezer we had very little space left, I was thinking we would have plenty of space for additional items but that was not the case, the big plus with the upright freezer is that it is a lot easier to find stuff, st this point if Zi were to do it all over again I would have purchased a 20 Cu Ft model from the start. We were going to sell the chest freezer but we have decided to keep it.

Based on my research, I don’t think there is a better upright freezer with the same options out there for this price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this freezer and installed it in our laundry room . I absolutely love how it has a light that doubles as a night light!! Shortly after the install we tripped a breaker for other reasons. We weren’t aware of the lack of power to the freezer for a couple of days. Luckily the freezer kept everything perfectly frozen!!!
