Excellent Investment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great freezer at a good price. Takes up less space than expected, while providing more storage than expected. Well lit and quiet. Ours is in the garage where it's been quite hot, but is working perfectly. The green "on" light projected onto the floor is a constant reassurance that all is well.

Little Green Light Tells Me It's Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous freezer, age 40, stopped working (apparently) the day I left on a 3 week vacation - what a welcome home. I measured it and started looking for a replacement. Thank you, Frigidare, you must be actively making this model - it was available at 4 different [online] stores. 13CU Ft is a bit smaller than the old one, but I tend to fill the space i have. the wire shelves are sturdy and build in shelves in the door. and the reviews were high. After it was installed (simple, roll into place and plug in) The little green light shining on the floor came on! Each time I walk into the basement, I can see the light on and the temperature alarm is silent and I know that all is well. This may seem a small detail, and it would be, except that I had walked through the basement several times before opening the door on the old one, to discover that I had room temperature no longer frozen goodsl Thank you Frigidare for making this change relatively easy for me.

Nice smooth finish, self defrosting and lots of room. I've always had great experiences with Frigidaire. I'm sure I'll have this freezer for many years.

Doing the Job

Once delivered and set up I immediately added some already frozen items to help get down to target temp. 4 hours later added unfrozen food and very pleased that this froze up solid quickly. Really like the exterior green light indicator to confirm power on and operating correctly. So far no issues with frost or temp fluctuation. At 13 cf it is spacious and well designed to hold significant amount of food. Think this is very good product at a good price.
