So far, so good! Our old one this style lasted 11 years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this freezer now for about a month and so far, so good. We had a similar Frigidaire that pooped out on us after 11 years and I guess that's about the lifespan of them anymore. It's taller than the older one and not as deep. The shelves are only about half as deep as the entire freezer width, but it's just two of us in the house, and we don't eat a lot, so it's working fine for us. I'm just glad this freezer is in our basement as the glowing green light on the bottom illuminates the room. Since we have a half door on our basement, it is a built in nightlight for my hubby and I, which I don't mind...I probably would mind it, if it were on my main living level. Hoping we get at least 11 years out of this newer one!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My freezer is the perfect size for our needs. I like the fact that there is a green light that lets you know when the freezer is on. Also the compartments are very easy to take off and put back on.
