Love the New Frigidaire Upright Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a small chest freezer the a Frigidaire Upright freezer that is “defrost free.” We love the new freezer because we can see everything and aren’t watching frost build up, or risking falling into the chest while trying to get something off the bottom. It was a little more expensive than a chest type replacement, but SO worth the extra! Love it!!

So far so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's going on a month since we purchased the freezer and pugged it in and like the title says "So far so go " time will tell. My last freezer lasted us over 30 years …. Just wish the freezer either came with or as an add-on option removable freezer organizer bins, trying to find the right sized ones that fit side by size and clear the door shelves seems impossible without having to give up shelve space placing them sideways .

Great Garage Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a 5 cu ft cube freezer. It has 13 cu ft in a footprint slightly deeper than the cube. Love the green light to let you know it is on, it would be annoying in a house. The freezer is quiet and works great.

Stopped working 2 days after purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this freezer. Worked a total of 2 days then wouldn't cool. Called the store to see if I could return it and was told since I didn't purchase the "extra" extended warranty I would have to have it repaired. So, of course the initial repair was scheduled, and then parts were ordered. Parts shipped quickly, however, when I called to see if I could move up my repair appt I sat on eternal hold for over 24 min and gave up. I even tried asking for a replacement as after all this was just purchased. The response...we understand your frustration, but...we always try to repair the product at least 2 to 3 times before replacing. Meanwhile, 3 weeks later I sit with a nonfunctioning appliance in my garage. I have had Frigidaire appliances before, but will never purchase again. Maybe if I win the sweepstakes, I can purchase another brand of freezer and deliver this one to the dump.

keeps icing up
