Don't buy this freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer about a year ago and it has already dethawed 3 times because of a poor seal on the door. I've had the repair man out twice and am currently waiting for the part to come in so the seal can be replaced. Went on vacation and checked to make sure the freezer was closed before I left came back the freezer had thawed while away. Noone here to even open it so it has to be seal leaking! This is the third time I've had to throw out food. Don't buy this freezer if you want to keep thing frozen.

Poor door close design

Purchased 20/20. To close door it must be pushed firmly!!! If not there is a gap but no alarm sounds till several hours later to let you know it is ajar. The alarm eventually went off this am but to late our food spoiled!!! Very unhappy customer. Why such design fault?

Your freezer's door ajar alert will sound if the door has been left open for 5 minutes or more. However, the High Temp Alert will sound once the temperature inside the cabinet exceeds 21°F (-6°C). If the door is not closing properly and the unit stop cooling, you likely got a High Temp alert. It may be caused by the door not being seated properly, which happens when the unit is not level or if your door gaskets are damaged or not clean. Debris or sticky residues may not allow good gasket sealing. Use warm soapy water to clean the door gasket. If you notice tears or other damage, let us know. Also, a tightly packed freezer will lead to poor air circulation and if there is excess frost build-up, over frosting can cause the door to not shut correctly or decrease airflow. Stand up freezer

Terrible!
Didn’t last a month and it stopped working, lost everything in it! Alarm didn’t go off on it until the next day after everything thawed out! Not happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even temperature and very cold. Easy to reach all items. Interior has good lighting. Door shelves have good depth for some larger items. Overall a very good improvement over the unit it replaced.

Seems to have problems

Twice the door has been found open for no apparent reason. Located in an area where light and sound is difficult to detect. Not sure if door is opening itself or lacks good seal. The unit is level. Vacuum seal is very poor.

Freezer for unfreezing

I had 2 freezers delivered at different times and neither would close properly. Unless you push the door closed firmly the door stays open about an inch. Good way to spoil your food. MY BIGGEST CONCERN is that my original review from last 10-11-22 isn’t here…HOW MANY OTHER reviews didn’t POST? I marked this 5 star to see if it posts now.

Convenient and spacious
