[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just what we needed. We were using a chest freezer but it was too difficult to find things when it was full.
We use this freezer strictly for meats leaving the chest freezer for frozen vegetables frozen pizzas etc.

13 cf upright freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded from a 10cf chest. It's Really nice to open the door and see everything. Digging through the chest was frustrating! The footprint is no bigger than the chest.
The shelves are deep enough for a standard size frozen pizza but not a large one. Changing the door swing was a simple task, just make sure you change the leveling feet as well. They are different. We have it in the garage and my grandson didn't close the door completely. The alarm was barely audible in the house and certainly not enough to wake us in the bedroom. The temperature was up to 50f. Fortunately the meat was still pretty solid and we were able to save it. Some type of latch /lock would be nice. Not sure if I would want to drill thru the side wall to add my own. We bought a remote temperature sensor unit with alarm off A__z_n the next day. Overall I am pretty happy with the purchase. Price was a little high but then I think everything is anymore.
