Nice and cold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this freezer for extra storage in my garage. I am had it approximately a month and it seems to be working OK however there is frost building up on the top around the door. I am assuming it is because of the door seal. When I purchased this it was very cold outside and I believe the seal never had a chance to expand. I have to remove the frosting anyway so I may use a blow dryer just to warm the seal up to fit the contour of the door a little better otherwise it seems to be a great unit.

Great freezer!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer a couple weeks ago when my very old 16 cu ft one died. This one is smaller than the old one but still holds everything I need. The inside light is very bright so I can see everything in the freezer; the door shelves are deep enough to hold a lot of food too. Being a bit smaller, it fit through the doors a lot easier than the old one which was very helpful.

Upright Freezer

I I bought my freezer on January 10. I read many reviews, before purchasing the freezer. Many mentioned that it was not frost free. Their concerns were answered with the explanation that it may not be level. I paid close attention to this information, when my freezer was delivered and placed in my home. Oh my goodness! Frost built up so fast and continued to do so until it looked like the north pole. Repair was made by removing and replacing (with the same gasget) and problem went away. Air was seeping in between the door seal. I was told that leveling was not and would not be a problem to cause frost. Check you seal!

How Do I Love Thee?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer is a dream. It’s got ample room but room that makes sense. Our old freezer felt like a black hole where food went in and didn’t always make it out. The shelves were deep and long and it made it difficult to find stuff. This new freezer has perfect sized shelves and compartments that hold a ton of food but also allow you to see what you have. It keeps everything super cold,is attractive,and I really appreciate the fact that it is frost free so I won’t have to defrost it. It also has a great alarm that sounds every time my kids forget to shut your door all the way which happens quite a lot around here. I love this freezer and I am grateful for it!
