Why No Door Lock?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great appliance but don’t understand why you don’t have a way to lock the freezer door so you can’t accidentally leave the door ajar. My freezer is in my basement and I’d never hear the door alarm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 13 Cu, Ft freezer is great. It exceeded all of our expectations. It very quiet, stays well below freezing, and is easy to find items in the freezer. There is no cold air leakage around the door seal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy I made the choice to buy this had one of the freezer chest couldn't see what was in the or when I made groceries I would have to pull everything from the bottom to go on top it opens like a refrigerator it gets extremely cold so much space very well lit light wise it fits perfectly in the corner of my garage good space on the doors and the racks allows you to stack a good amount of food per rack and it's a nice size rack at the bottom for catch all ..lol love this freezer now I don't dread going in the freezer like I did before it allows you to see everything at one time.

Not deep but tall and narrow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of this, my last freezer was short and boxy, I would loose things because it was too deep. Because this is taller I have extra door space, which I prefer. Easy to find what I’m looking for and it takes up less space in our basement. Very happy with our purchase.

So Far So Good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 11 year old Frigidaire 13 cubic feet died and I got this one as a replacement. It's taller, narrower, not as deep and doesn't hold as much as the older version. The metal shelves don't have a lip so everything wants to slid off. The pockets on the door aren't as big as the older version either and the bottom pocket is very narrow. I purchased a child lock to ensure the door seals each time after reading reviews that this was a problem for several people. I waited 2 days after delivery before turning on to be sure all the internal coolant settled appropriately. I turned it on and waited 12 hours before putting in any frozen food. The green light shows it's working but due to skeptical reviews I still check it every day to be sure things remain frozen. I have had the freezer for a month now and so far so good. I have it set at the recommended temp.
