[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 13 cu ft Upright fits items from my 8.3cu ft chest… just barely. But I can easily see the items I need to get… and less floor space. I’ve had it for one month now and so far so good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is the perfect size for my needs. The footprint is smaller and I like that. I don't have room nor do I need a large freezer. This freezer has adequate shelves and door storage to sort items so that they are easier to find. I highly recommend it if you need a medium sized freezer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it. Even though it is smaller than the one I had to replace, it still suits my needs and holds everything I need it to.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this freezer for just a month but we love it. Our previous one was a Frigidaire, we've had for 23 years. Our new one is taller, less deep (13 cu ft) with a light in the top. It seems to be working great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love upright. So easy to access food with out digging & removing stuff. Lightweight to get unloaded & in home
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 40 yr old chest freezer with an upright. The chest freezer still worked but it was getting harder and harder for my wife to reach items at the bottom. Who knows how much longer it would have lasted too. We didn't want to take any chances losing a freezer full of food. This upright is such a back saver for her! Everything is within easy reach now. The door seals tight so we never have to worry about the door popping open. The green light shining on the floor to indicate power gives us peace of mind. We like the shelves & 1 small bin at the bottom. If you are going from a chest freezer to an upright you may want to consider getting a freezer with more cubic feet that what you presently have. Since items are now stacked on shelves instead of just piled on top of each other as in a chest freezer, you may need more room for your frozen items. We went from 12cu ft to 13cu ft. and probably should have purchased a little bigger freezer. We've only owned the freezer several weeks but are happy with our purchase so far. We hope it lasts many years to come!
