Takes up less floor space in the garage, and I can see what I have in it verses the chest freezer I had previously that everything was piled on top of each other thing and you had to dig through it all. I also love that the door has shelves to put some skinny things on

Freezes without a BIT

Perfect size for us

I also like the light that lets you know if the electricity was off. It is very easy to see exactly what you have on the shelves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace the chest freezer I lost during the 2020 wildfire evacuation (it had gone 3 weeks without electricity, phew!). I love the upright design that makes it so easy to see what's there. And not having to defrost is such a relief. I haven't had it long enough to be able to evaluate the air circulation for even temperature, but overall, the construction appears solid, with no problems apparent after the first month.
I selected this brand and model because it was highly recommended by review sites. So far, so good!
