[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Door is very difficult to open for my 92-year-old mother. She attempted open the door on Sunday, lost her grip and fell over backwards. She appears to be OK. Definitely need to change the design with a better handle.

This is due to warm air entering the fridge when the door was opened; this air then contracts as it cools down, and this creates a vacuum. A perfect freezer for us!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 28 year-old freezer was doing OK but given its age, the prudent thing was to replace it. After looking over our options and different brands we decided on a 13 cu ft upright Frigidaire model FFU13F2VW. It has lots of shelves, some adjustable, and a great pull out basket on the bottom. Quite an upgrade for us to a frost-free unit plus open door and high temperature alarms. In addition to the peace of mind provided by all these features, the freezer also has a glowing green light that shines softly on the basement floor so when we look down the stairs we can confirm that the freezer is running. This Frigidaire meets all our needs!
