[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have only had this freezer for a couple months but am loving it this far. Very quiet, spacious, and love the indicator light to have assurance of the temperature inside. I’ve already loaded it up with venison, pork and beef and have tons of room to continue adding. Changing the door opening was easy and convenient. Great purchase!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very quiet and efficient use of interior space. Easily maintains desired temperature with minimal run time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought an up right Frigidaire freezer in 1996! I just had to replace it. This is the reason I went back to another Frigidaire freezer. I got a lot of years out of the old one. I’m looking forward to long years with this new one as well. This one is bigger than the old one. I like all the shelf space and the basket in the bottom. You can put things like bags of corn and it want take up your shelf space
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are quite please with our new freezer. It is roomier than we thought it would be. We like the interior light feature and the exterior one as well. It was easy to start up and stays very cold at the recommended setting.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 14 cu ft Frigidaire chest freezer and decided to get an upright instead. Bought a upright not Frigidaire. Disappointed and unhappy. So I went with I knew and trusted. Frigidaire!!! I love this freezer, its tall, I can see everything clearly. No more digging through frozen items. Another benefit that I wasn't aware of, garage capable (didn't know that was cause of many freezer failure. Thank you Frigidaire.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a tough decision to replace our old freezer - it fit in a small space, had been with us for around 30 years, and still worked! But 8 cu ft just wasn't working. This Frigidaire got the job because its footprint was only slightly larger than the old one. How does it hold so much more? Two reasons: it's tall, and it has usable storage almost all the way to the floor.
It's also frost-free and has a light, unlike the old freezer. It's working beautifully and holding a good temperature throughout the interior. Power consumption is very reasonable.
Interestingly, the external side walls get pretty warm when it's running; apparently, some of the heat exhausts through the sides. Not a problem for us: it sits in a garage with enough clearance... but that might be an issue for some installations.
Bottom line: I'm very pleased with the product: it freezes well, and has the capacity we need.
