Perfect for us

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 13 cu. ft. freezer is perfect for us. There is plenty of room and the unit is compact and does not take up a lot of space in our garage. It cooled rapidly (this model is garage-ready) and runs quietly. The green light shining at the bottom is clearly visible so it would be obvious if the power were to go off.

So Far So Good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 11 year old Frigidaire 13 cubic feet died and I got this one as a replacement. It's taller, narrower, not as deep and doesn't hold as much as the older version. The metal shelves don't have a lip so everything wants to slid off. The pockets on the door aren't as big as the older version either and the bottom pocket is very narrow. I purchased a child lock to ensure the door seals each time after reading reviews that this was a problem for several people. I waited 2 days after delivery before turning on to be sure all the internal coolant settled appropriately. I turned it on and waited 12 hours before putting in any frozen food. The green light shows it's working but due to skeptical reviews I still check it every day to be sure things remain frozen. I have had the freezer for a month now and so far so good. I have it set at the recommended temp.
