Cold blaster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Man is this thing a dream! I have to sleep in a cold room and man does this do the trick! I love how it has an energy efficient mode for when I’m gone during the day so the house doesn’t get stuffy. Super easy install that took less than 2 minutes for me! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an AC to purchase this TCL!

Perfect for a Small Room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super happy with this item, as it’s very efficient in terms of cooling the room down by about 15-20 degrees depending on how long it’s runs. It was super simple to install and maybe the best part of it is the controllability away from home. Overall I would recommend this product for anyone looking to cool a room down!

Amazing AC Unit for small apt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this to review from Influenster and gave it a month to test it out and it’s really easy to install, very small and compact for my apartment. Compared to my old AC this one is slightly less noisy but at a reasonable level. I have two bedroom and it has a strong airflow to go around and cool my whole apartment. I love the eco button to help with the energy Efficiency and overall I’d highly recommend this AC unit for small apartments

Mechanically good. Electronics are horrible.

The unit is mechanically great. It’s strong, quiet and does a great job doing what it’s intended to do.
That, however, is offset by the cheap and subpar electronics that makes it possible.
The controller board corrodes constantly and stops the unit from functioning properly. The buttons don’t work or they’re stuck in a perpetual cycle.
It’s inexcusable to have this kind of issue with a product like this.

Disappointed and shocked

I am truly disappointed in this window unit. It was purchased it in April this year, 2025, and by June it was spewing a rust-colored substance on the outside housing. Thinking it just may have been normal wear and tear, I reasoned that I would clean it at the end of the season, so, I left it alone. Last night I heard a noise I had not noticed before and peeped in through the air vent but didn't see anything. This morning, I looked in again and gasped at what I saw. The blades are black with mold and it's growing on the Styrofoam housing. I turned it off and opened the drain plug to let it dry out and the coil in that area is solid rust!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
