beautiful and practical

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] GE thought of everything! My last two refrigs were side by sides so i really appreciate the space and well organized shelves. There's even a shelf that can recess to make room for super tall items like a vase of flowers. The ice makers are easy to get to and easy to empty into a cooler or ice bucket. I like the on the door controls, but I think my favorite feature is a little flip out shelf in the freezer, just the right size to keep things like seasonings or nuts. Color so beautiful that we replaced all of our appliances with slate when we only really needed a dishwasher and inspired a kitchen remodel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this for about a week and love it already. Dual icemakers are so handy to have when entertaining! The slate color is beautiful. The bottom freezer allows ease of use and easy to see what is in there.

Suck a good looking fridge

Love the features. I was missing one of the doors bins though when we unpacked it. Need to contact customer service about replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted a counter-depth refrigerator, but when I saw this Slate grouping, I decided I could give up the few inches. We bought all 4 kitchen appliances and WOW what a difference in the kitchen! I have always been pleased with the GE appliances I've had in past...and compared to the other brands I have had experience with, GE has a great product. This fridge is very quiet and I like the fact that there are 2 ice makers - most of the time we will only require the in-door, but nice to know you can always rely on the one in the freezer if needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first fridge we've bought with a freezer on the bottom. I am having a hard time getting used to it. I feel like I have to dig through the drawer in order to get at things. The top fridge section is awesome. It's so roomy and everything is easy to get at. I love the lighting in it as well. The water dispenser is new to us as well. I noticed that when using the crushed ice mode, it has a tendency to splatter the ice pieces around.
