This is a great coffee maker. The coffee is always good, it's fast, and easy to use and maintain. It's so good that we've bought 4 of them or their previous model, because the only drawback is their lifespan. We've yet to have one last more than 18 months. First the cleaning cycle goes, then eventually they just stop working. Since they're relatively inexpensive we just keep replacing them.

The coffee pot drips. The plastic snap-on top is a bad design. Send it back to the test engineer. The top is not suppose to retain coffee after the brew cycle. Coffee must be in the pot, not in the snap-on top. It drips as you pour making a mess.

This is a nice- looking, mostly good 12 cup coffee brewer. On the good side, it has a sleek modern exterior design, and very easy to use controls. It’s fast and makes a more than decent cup of coffee. On the negative side, I dislike the carafe that comes with it. It opens only after you pry it open from the back hinge which is awkward and impossible if your hands are wet. Second, it does not empty completely when you turn it over for washing. Residual water stays in the carafe no matter how hard you try to remove it. You have to towel it dry each time or you get stale water in your newly brewed coffee. Sound like small potatoes? No. The carafe is just not well designed. But I still give this a very good rating for its other good attributes.

I bought this in May and it stopped working already. The programmable timer only flashes and the brew button might work if I play with it a few minutes and will brew a pot of coffee then shut off and the coffee goes cold. I bought this same pot for my daughter over a year ago and it is still working. I really hate to have to spend money to replace a nearly, hardly used coffeepot but when I do, I will not be purchasing this model again.

Turns itself on/off in brew cycle constantly

Used to have the older version of this model and it lasted years but this one purchased in March 2025 worked until about 2 weeks ago when the brew button would turn itself off and on constantly. I'd have to monitor the brewing and turn it back on when it shut down on its own. Then after the brew it would turn itself back on. Looks like several people have had this same issue. Can I get a warranty replacement?

I love that you can program it to make your coffee at whatever time you set it for. I love the sleek black look of it. The black allows it to match perfectly in my kitchen with all of my other appliances. I used my Coffeemaker the minute I opened it and set it up. It made my coffee quick and it makes a delicious hot cup of coffee. I highly recommend this Coffeemaker!!!!

I had a Keurig before and I felt that the price per cup was unrealistic, not to mention you couldn't control how strong or weak you make each cup (unless you brew it twice or get multiple flavors). I love how it has a water filter, programmable setting, and that you can save money by using the gold filter. It brews it nice and hot, which is wonderful, and the heat plate keeps the coffee warm. I would purchase this coffee pot again.
