This is the best coffee maker -- and white is the best color and glass is the best pot material. I have been buying this coffee maker (including it's predecessor models) for several years and will continue to do so as long as they don't change its features and design.

The opening for water is very small and can be difficult to pour water into it without pouring it into the coffee bean area. Poorly designed, especially for people with arthritic hands.

Difficult to pour the last bit of water due to how the top is configured. Also the carafe top is designed in a way that guarantees it will wear out early

It’s early in my ownership of this coffee maker. I owned one before that wouldn’t make more than 3 cups of coffee after 7-8 cups of water was used. So far though this coffee maker makes coffee fast. It’s also a lot easier to clean being black than the stainless steel one I previously had. I don’t like the fact it requires the v shaped filters. These cost a lot more and most suppliers don’t sell large quantity filter choices. It’s better to make a design change using the circular type filters. They are cheaper. I use these instead and hope the coffee doesn’t slip through some how. Perhaps you can make available a basket that makes use of a circular filter type?

Overall, works well, although I have two things I don't like. The carafe consists of a cylindrically-shaped glass form without a spout. Instead, it has a plastic insert with a spout. Unfortunately, this plastic insert prevents the last bit of coffee to be poured out. The second dislike are the five piercing beeps when the coffee is ready. That is somewhat overkill and I wish there was an option to turn it off.
