This phone case seems to cover less than all my prior otter box purchases over the last 10 years. There's a lot of of my new iPhone 16+ exposed in my opinion. I was disappointed to learn that there was no screen protector or holster clip included with the purchase of the case. And this is probably the first defender case that I feel is not as robbery or grip easy. I just hope it protects my phone. I ended up having to pick up a local screen protector glass shield thing cause I couldn't wait for that protection to come in the mail since it was a separate purchase.

Nice enough, but not as good as previous cases. After one week, my screen protector is cracked—something that has never happened with the multiple cases and several phone with the Lifeproof fre cases. We have used only Lifeproof cases for over 13 years. The screen is exposed because the case leaves a large opening for the camera button.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve been a huge proponent of OtterBox cases for a many years now! I purchase top notch iPhones and I want the very best protection from all the elements.
My phones have been dropped from tall ladders…truck toolbox/bumpers…skid down the roadway…and no damage to the phones.
I wholeheartedly endorse the OutterBox Defender Series cases!

Not allowing mag safe charging with different char

Doesn’t allow charging with different charging devices. Works with ones in house but not in car. Everyone else’s phone case works with one in the car. Big disappointment

Otterbox designs our cases according to the Apple Design Guidelines and our products are tested across a large number of charging products, while we do not have specific information on your specific vehicle's charging pad, if they follow the Apple specs, all OtterBox MagSafe cases will work with it. However, if it does not have magnets in it, the alignment will be more difficult which will impact the charging performance.
