Not a good case. The camera cutout leaves the phone completely exposed. I broke my screen protector 3 days into use because of how open that edge is.

Hello! The new and improved design works seamlessly with Apple's new camera control button on the Apple iPhone 16 line of our cases. Our engineering team not only found that the new notch does not diminish the drop protection of the case, we also re-engineered these cases to be Drop+ 7x rated up from Drop+ 4x rated on previous versions.

I wanted to love this phone case. And I was excited that they offered a case with the highest DROP+ Rating that was also pretty. I purchased an iPhone 16 Pro which has the new "Camera Control" which is not only a clickable button, but you can slide your finger on it for additional functions. For some reason, Otterbox decided that to use the Camera Control, you need full access to it from the front of your phone, so the case is "cut out" around the control - you can see it in the pictures. At first, it was just annoying that seemed to be where my thumb wanted to rest regularly - but there was no case edge there.
Then, within a couple days, I cracked the glass screen protector right in the center of the "open space". I don't even know how it happened - I didn't drop my phone. But I must have bumped it on something right at that point. Otterbox cases are supposed to protect the edges, but they left this big Achilles heel. And then my thumb kept resting on the sharp edges of the cracked screen protector.
Almost every Otterbox series has that stupid open space for the Camera Control that is totally unnecessary. I've already purchased a new case (different brand) - it does not expose the area above the Camera Control, and I can use the control just fine. I have such high expectations of Otterbox, an they just didn't meet them this time.
