Scratches very easily for something so expensive, I’d imagine the color on the case would be a bit more robust

The new and improved designed cases work seamlessly with Apple's new camera control button on the Apple iPhone 16 line of cases. Our engineering team not only found that the new notch does not diminish the drop protection of the case.

I am not a fan of the new camera button cutout. It is just so extreme and leaves the phone so exposed. Therefore this case lives in my drawers.

Once a Defender, always a Defender (series) but...

I have been a big fan of Otter Box cases, the Defender Series for many years. However, this new iphone 16 Pro case is a disappointment. Typically, the phone case itself allows you to reholster the phone in either the up or down position. With access to the camera button position, you can only reholster one way. I am sure I will get used to this but you could have designed the case to work both ways.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good except the back paint easy to fall apart

It is a solid case and I have always trusted otter box as my phone protector. One star reduction this time is due to the quality of the back painting. The one I got has a beautiful back painting but can be easily chipped even with careful handling in a week of usage. It is not a big deal but still not 100% happy about it.

case is great with one small flaw. They have now added a tether point which is awesome but it's square which means it's hard to thread your tether through the hole. (hard to attach a wrist strap) however overall better case without this one small exception
