Thought the cutout for the camera button wouldn’t be an issue. This cutout is large considering the thickness of the case and is awkward to hold. Sent case back for a better option

Hello Brandon! The new and improved design works seamlessly with Apple's new camera control button on the Apple iPhone 16 line of our cases. Our engineering team not only found that the new notch does not diminish the drop protection of the case, we also re-engineered these cases to be Drop+ 7x rated up from Drop+ 4x rated on previous versions.

Good case, gets gross with fingerprints quickly

The back of the case gets really caked with fingerprints, otherwise it’s a great case and fits very snuggly. I would recommend it, the only thing is how the plastic on the back of the case collects fingerprints and oils.

I have been using Otterbox cases exclusively since the iPhone 4 and this is by far the worst Otterbox case i have ever owned. Not only is there a ridiculously oversized cutout for the camera control button on the 16 pro, but you also lose the belt clip notch on the right side of the case forcing you to put your phone in the clip a certain way which is absolutely ridiculous. The design seems lazy and rushed and i also HATE the clear back. Its too slick and gets covered in fingerprints. The defender pro xt for the iPhone 14 pro was far superior with its matte plastic back, this case is terrible. Also, the little alignment magnet for the magsafe fell off after only putting the case on my phone once to try out the case. I dont know what happened to Otterbox but i wont be buying another one until they stop putting out rushed garbage like this. Whoever thought that cutting out a quarter of the right side of the case for a TINY button was a good idea should be fired.

I was sitting on a park bench, went to put my phone in my back pocket and it slipped out of my hand. To my surprise, one of the three camera lenses cracked! It was such a small fall and I did not expect this to happen with an otter box case. I thought the ridges around the camera would protect it but, nope! I’ve had my phone for only two weeks and now the camera is broken. Don’t buy this case, truly. Not sure how this is an Otterbox nor how this model passed quality assurance.

Mostly the same as other defender cases. Not a huge fan of the camera control cut out but I see the reason why it is there. I don't use it so maybe do a case without the cut out.
