I built this on a trip with work and it was fun the whole process. to see it come together at the end was amazing. You add a spring it bag 2 of 4 and it does nothing till the last move. please make more like this.

My grandson is 14 and has been building Lego sets since he was 3. He loves building and designing Lego sets, and I wanted to get him a set that was unique and a bit challenging. This set took him about an hour to build, and he said it was very easy. The instructions were perfect and easy to follow. The final result is an amazing and functional flying machine. There is a trigger mechanism on the bottom of the flying machine that makes the wings and tail flap like a bird. My grandson commented that he knows why the Flying Machine never got off the ground, after looking at the design. It's a great learning tool, as well as a fun set to build and keep in his room. Highly recommended for Lego builders with some expertise in building Lego sets.

One of the best sets I have built, with some very interesting solutions to the wings and the structure itself. Absolutely worth the money in my view.
Also, first time I used the Builder app and that was a game changer. Kudos to Lego for putting that out there and including the 3D instructions.

I really enjoyed putting this set together! It was a very quick build (1.5 hr), but really fun. The detail is great, & it will reside right next to the Amelia Earhart Tribute set (another enjoyable build). Look forward to any other possible sets of this ilk in the future.

I enjoyed every step of this creation. The instruction booklet is very clear and has interesting facts and info about Da Vinci throughout the pages. Careful of steps 155-157, easy fix just take out one link and then it all fits together in the end!
