Should have been better

Like I’ve read from other reviewers. I started my build with such enthusiasm and excitement. As I went along I began to run out of pieces. You know opening up the next bag hoping they just put the part I am looking for in the next bag. Now that I can see the end nearing and I’m running out of parts, I’m going to disassemble 2/3 of the car to replace the pieces I’ve robbed from Peter to pay Paul. I think the idea was outstanding but the engineering was let’s say not the best representation that Lego has produced. I have to back up a bit and order the pieces I need to complete the build. The rear tires are a sad effort. Put the widest tires that you can make in one piece. It’s easier to tell your friends that they should have been wider than to try and make up excuses for putting duallys on my Lamborghini! I’ll reconsider my evaluation when I receive the missing pieces so that I can complete my build. I will find a nice box with a lid to store my project in until I can forget the disappointment and begin again with the excitement and enthusiasm I began with a week ago.

Missing 1 tile in bag 11. Need in black, red, with front wing, painted wheels and chrome exhaust tips. Some me the missing tile. The rust interior and tail light assembly need to change color. As always I have to change to improve.

Really fun build

doors sometimes don't work, challenging

throughout the whole build I was having fun it did hurt my fingers a tad bit, as any good set should so don't let this stop you from buying it. I thought that it was pretty cool that the front wheels turn. But I don't know if this is just my building skill, but my back tire doesn't touch the ground only the thin tire that are next to it do. Overall, the build came out great, amazing detail, sick engine, nice front trunk, and great for display

Lambo overall fit

As to various parts fitting that will eventually lead to other parts coming apart and so on is a challenge and is not very thought out in my opinion considering the others that I've done this build was very disappointing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not a bad build. It's more fragile than I would like and if you touch it wrong parts fall off. The front fenders where the headlights are are being held on by 1 stud. The front hod, roof and rear hood are all connected and the front and rear hoods are movable, so if you move one the other has a chance of moving as well. The doors are a bit fragile as well. Obviously this is made to sit on a shelf and that's great, but even during the build there are too many pieces and not enough anchor studs for some larger parts. Would help with a few technic pieces to hold it all together. Also would have been cool if Lego offered limited edition colors like red or black. I would have paid up for a red one. Overall a decent build and a cool looking car. It firs the Icons label, as this car is a true icon.

This is one of the best Icon car kits so far. The detail and quality of the build is amazing. The side vents are actually formed from the lego build around the vent. Not a vent part lego piece. Just gets better as well.
