Great set for Chinese New Year!

Finally a new Calendar

It is nice to get a new calendar after the last one (Brick calendar 40172) was discontinued about 3 years ago. Fun to build, a nice 20 relaxing minutes with your favorite playlist and a hot beverage. Note: take your time for the stickers on the dial. I also like that it comes with a minifigure.
My daughter liked it so much that she “stole” it, and put it on her nightstand and make sure the date is the correct one as soon as she wakes up (right after she turns the page of her minifig daily calendar).
It is a nice set and help kids to maintain a routine.

Bought this for my husband to display on his desk at work. We are a huge Lego family. Fun to build but NO QR Code on Building Manual. How am I supposed to register for my VIP Loyalty points?

Worst set

Was excited to see this and bought it immediately. Building experience was average but Lego really went cheap on this one. It’s a calendar but all numbers are on stickers and extremely challenging to place them straight on a circle piece. Just really cheap. I’m considering returning it and it will be the first time I return a set after I built it. Just really disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only thing I'm disappointed about is that the inner disks have to be rotated by hand.

Totally is good, but the design don’t make sense.

This set of Lego totally is good. Easy to build, colorful which is match the new year style. But there are some designs do not make sense. First, the boat. It could separate with the calendar. It looks like a new style because there are two things to display. But for me, if only display the boat, the boat looks too empty. Especially for new year, I would like to add some bricks in the boat, such like lucky money (red envelopes), gold,etc. Second, if I put the calendar on the boat, the original bottom part for the calendar becomes extra, there is nothing special to display. It will waste the bottom.
In this case, if I want to display both of the boat and the calendar together as two independently, and make them look better, I have to buy other bricks for it. So I won’t recommend it.
