Customizable, Festive Fun for Any Year

This set is an absolute delight! The vibrant designs capturing various festive themes are truly captivating. Each model is a testament to creativity and attention to detail. Moreover, one remarkable advantage is the flexibility of the set: the year 2024 printed on it is actually customizable. This feature significantly enhances the product's longevity and usability. Being able to modify the digits means it's not confined to a specific year, making it more than just an annual limited edition.
However, there's a minor discrepancy to note: the numbering on the packaging box doesn’t precisely match the instructions in the accompanying booklet. This discrepancy might cause a bit of confusion when trying to follow the numbered sequence during assembly.
Despite this small issue with the packaging, the set itself brings joyous decorations and endless fun. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a touch of festivity and charm in their Lego collection!

Love This Perpetual Calendar!

I have been hoping that Lego would release a new perpetual calendar after the Lego Iconic Brick Calendar was retired. When I saw this online, I ordered it right away. How lovely that Lego came out with a Lunar New Year / Asian themed perpetual calendar!
I like how the set includes options and the flexibility of having two different bases to mount the calendar unit upon. The build was easy, however I had a tough time deciding on placement of the number stickers for the date wheels. The instructions show to place them right by the side edge of the wheel, but the image on the front of the box has the number stickers in the middle. I played around with mine and it was easy to lightly adhere the sticker (but not all the way) and remove to adjust placement. IMHO placing the number sticker on the edge like in the instructions manual makes the calendar look odd. I placed mine nearly in the center. You just have to make sure your placement is even for the month wheels and date wheels so that there isn’t a huge gap (or so that they aren’t too close to the middle). Hope that makes sense.
I really enjoyed building this and look forward to displaying it on my desk for Lunar New Year and the months ahead!!

Cute perpetual calendar

I like this build except for applying the stickers on the round pieces. I also like that there are extra pieces and instructions on changing the dates so you could use this as a calendar as long as you want.

Great set! Minor instruction flaw

So excited for this set and the addition to my lunar new year collection. I did think I was missing two bricks before I realized there is a slight miss print one page 71 where the picture shows two bricks on the set that are show to be added on page 72.

What a fun build. I love that it also came with extra pieces so you can change the year and keep using it. My only gripe I wish you could use the stand and the boat at the same time.. Guess I must find a way to combine them.

Great calendar! I always see the block calendars people have at appointments I go to and this is way better! You can have it on the boat or in the 2024 frame. I love it! Kids like to change the day early but that’s ok.

A fun build. Love that the components are built individually and can then be assembled in a variety of ways. It was also fun to see how elements used in other builds became components in this one.

Nice display piece

This set went together easily. However, I wish there were a way to attach both parts together. I don't like having the calendar in two parts. I also had an issue with some of the piece colors in the instruction manual. Some of them did not match very well the actual piece colors. Also,I am having a problem getting the hair piece on the woman. (Haven't managed yet.) All in all, I'm glad I bought and built the set.
