This has been the dream set for me. Many years I wished that Lego would do this in a large scale and it doesn’t disappoint. The detail is amazing, the build was fun and varied, and the end result is something to behold. Wish it didn’t have to end!

This is a great set for the Lego and Lord of the Rings fan. I thought some of the building techniques were great. If the Rivendell set is 1A then this set is 1B.

This is definitely a set you need if you collect any Lord of the Rings! Perfect addition to my Rivendell, although this Beast dwarfs my Rivendell - it's seriously almost 3 ft tall and very formidable looking - they did a great job, the designers did, on all the little details and secrets and special touches. The set is beyond amazing! I highly recommend it to anyone! I tried to upload a picture but couldn't make it happen. But it's exactly like it looks on the website! The hiding place for the Palantir and the fact that the gate doors open remotely and orher extra features just make it all the better! Great job Lego designers, now if only someday I could get my hands on Edoras! LOL

The build process was so fun and the instructions were very easy to follow. I love the easter eggs hidden throughout and the various mechanical parts of the tower (the hidden palantir is awesome!). The end result is insanely impressive and just beautiful! Absolutely well worth the money, especially for a massive LOTR fan! Really happy with this build.
