Scratched and scuffed bricks

This Lego set is a masterpiece but not for the faint of heart when it comes to the build process. The only issue I had was with the last 10 bags in the set which had multiple Lego pieces with scuffs and scratches that I couldn’t remove. With a set like this with a lot of matte black you want your pieces not to have noticeable dents and scratches all over. Hopefully these defects will get lost in all the details of the set. Other than that, this is the Lego Death Star for LotR fans!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great build. Great experience. Very detailed set. And love all the little “Easter eggs.” Sticker sheet was very bent between the instruction books though.

My 13 yr old son and I bought this together, though he did all of the building! SUPER cool set and it looks GREAT on the shelf next to Rivendell--love it!!
