Now I can sleep soundly knowing Sauron's lidless eye is keeping vigilant watch. Great build! Here's hoping we could get more LOTR towers from LEGO!

Multiple missing pieces and months-long wait for replacements made this a complete disappointment. For the price, QA needs to be ramped up on pieces missing. Also- the manual was confusing with various shades of brown and gray not matching the print colors and it often being confusing to determine what of the 3 browns or grays you were using if there wasn't a lighter or darker colored piece next to it to compare. Others look awesome, but there was no joy in this build.

I purchased this item on June 2nd 2024 and I didn't get any of the gwp because they ran out, very disappointed, that was the reason I purchased during the gwp promo, so I can get the exclusives.

Amazing but missing the promised gift

The Barad-Dûr set is stunning, as a huge fan of the universe and a huge Lego fan, it’s a great pleasure to build THE tower and discover all the little Easter eggs hidden by Lego.
However, I am quite disappointed because I order the 1st June and the Fell Beast gift promised was still announced in the page while I ordered but like many others, did receive nothing.

Decent set, some elements of the design are poor

The technic designs on the bottom floor are very poor. It is very disappointing when lego designers don't take into account the flex of plastic when designing things with technic functions. The doors don't close properly, and when using the function to open them is moves and flexes pieces, as the connections are not strong in that area. Using a set as intended should never cause connections to become weaker.

Very Upset

This is a fantastic looking set (so far, I haven’t been able to finish building it yet) and I am a fan of the Lord of the Rings so I purchased this right when it was released. I was hoping to finish building it on Christmas break from college and that did not happen because I have had to make 3 separate missing piece requests already - and they take around 1-3 weeks to arrive. I’ve still got 10 bags left to build (currently waiting for a piece) and am hoping I don’t have to order more missing pieces. I’ve never had this issue before with a Lego set and shouldn’t be having this issue with a set with that price tag. This would’ve been a 5 star review had the set not been incomplete. I hope Lego can fix this issue.

missing parts

My son saved his money to buy this. Finally received it today. He's on bag #8 and so far has 3 missing pieces and the Frodo minifig doesn't have the correct face. For the outrageous price I am highly disappointed!
