This set was such a joy to put together. I loved all the hidden little gems -- Beast on a communication screen since he wasn't figure to build was a personal favorite (though I'm bummed they didn't work Jubilee in somehow) -- and references to the Animated Series. They did an amazing job with the Danger Room, it was one of my favorite elements to build along with the Sentinel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this set, as a huge fan of X-men and the new X-men 97 show, this set is the best way to bring back that nastolgia. It's a great size for those that don't have tons of space, while still capturing the X-men feel. It makes me want to collect all the X-men minifigs now. It's a great start to the evolving X-men franchise with LEGO.

Way too small to be considered a mansion needs to be at least twice this size rooms are little and other than gambit and bishop the mini figs are very lacking lesser quality than the mystery figs featuring X-men previously released

This is an awesome set overall, I see a lot gripes about the scale and whatnot but it honestly looks great in person. There is a ton of details packed into each room. Could the rooms have been bigger? Sure. Honestly, I'm not playing with it though, it's sitting on a shelf and for that purpose it looks great with all the X-men Minifigures displayed in front. If you did want to play with it there are more points to mount figures in action poses than any set I've seen of this size. My only gripe is that it should have come with more Minifigures for the price. I'm sure the missing obvious choices like jubilee will come in some additional product release which I look forward too but it would have been nice to get them now instead of a 2nd rogue, wolverine (3rd?+), or cyclops - or better yet all of the above. The gwp made it worth it for me either way. Had to add a review as I see people lowering the ratings complaining about box condition they received and other unrelated things as if that has anything to do with the set in question... Would recommend.

I’m glad to finally have a X Men set of this caliber. Awesome set, really enjoyed the build! But for the price for this set, the overall size and mini figs don’t add up. Especially if you compare it to the Daily Bugle. The mansion really needed a third floor! With that said, I do recommend this set and have no regrets making the purchase!
