Good set, marred by horrible quality control.

I was very excited to buy this set, but unfortunately faced several quality control issues. Iceman's head seems to have part of the printing rubbed off, and one of the baseplates is warped in the corner. This is frankly unacceptable, and completely ruined my experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're sorry to hear that your X-Men: The X-Mansion had some quality issues with Iceman's head and one of the baseplates. Quality is very important to us, so we'd like to investigate what happened here and make things right. Please get in touch with us at LEGO.build/Service so we can help!

Great build for X-Men fans

Iconic build! Minifigure lineup is excellent. The build itself is a bit small for a mansion though.

Just ok, bit disappointed

My biggest drawback with this set, its the baseplates. Set its built in 3 sections which then attach, but the plates do not attach, when moving its very shaky and unstable, having to be extra careful as only the back sections shows a slight sturdiness. I was a bit confused as this is the first modular i built with this type of "issue." The set is a bit pricey based on size and piece count in comparison with other sets.
