This set has a great minifigure selection. The build is fun but my biggest pet peeve is the size. Once you finish it you realize there’s not much room, but it is what it is! The play features are amazing with lots of possibilities.
This set was built with X-men fans in mind!

I'm surprised this set isn't larger when there are others with 25% more pieces at a similar price point. If Charles Xavier can't fit into the house, that's...ironically funny but a clear problem. It feels like this set prioritizes form over function seeing that there's an expectation to position figures both inside and outside of the house—this is not unique to this set, either. Often, builders have multiple sets and can't realistically display the default "action pose" you see in the promo images. It would be nice if a combined arrangement was a minimum requirement LEGO enforced to keep all the pieces together for display.

Yeah, it was advertised that we'd get cerebro with the set and somehow the company that makes the set ran out? I'll look elsewhere if this how you want to conduct business.
Unless you're a die-hard, stone cold marvel geek pass on this set. Half the time building items you will never see, unless you fit the description above.
Way too small to be considered a mansion needs to be at least twice this size rooms are little and other than gambit and bishop the mini figs are very lacking lesser quality than the mystery figs featuring X-men previously released
Good build but definitely not worth the price. I feel there could have been better x-men related play features. Additionally I’m not a fan of the floating debris/damage concepts. Lastly, yet again, I found two instruction booklet mistakes (pics attached). This is a common occurrence the past few years, what in the dei is going on lol.
Okay, I’m totally unfamiliar with Marvel or X-Men. I bought this to convert to a modular building. The build was straight forward with no frustrating elements. The scale is a little small to fit in with other modular buildings. While it probably won’t help with scale, I will buy another set so I can add a floor. The mini-figs are totally not my thing. They look okay, but what do I know about X-Men? Zilch. Nada. Nothing. So, I’ll give the mini-figs to the kids across the street. If building for modular city purposes, you can totally skip the first two bags. Anyway, nice set with coherent instructs and every thing fits.
I got this set because I have always been a huge fan of the X-Men. Let me tell you it did not disappoint me. While the build could be slightly complex at times, it kept my attention and I had a very fun experience. The minifigures are a lot of fun and they show off the characters various powers well. I highly recommend this set for Marvel fans and for fans who like challenging builds.
