The IKEA build of LEGO sets

I’ve been on an LEGO Marvel kick since getting Avengers Tower. I really wanted to like this set but the build experience has been challenging in a bad way. Most of the upper levels are not built on a base plate so it becomes a floating mess. It feels really unsturdy until I put the final plates of the section on or I connect one side and the other side comes loose, which makes me question the set’s stability. The nice thing is that the minifigures are nice!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the first set that I have been very disappointed in. I opened the box, come to find out that I had not only one bag that was already opened but I had TWO bags that were already opened. I get to bag 22, so close to being done with the set but of course I’m missing a piece. The frustration and disappointment I feel is ridiculous, especially after the price you have to pay for this set.

I love this set because it has a lot of small details from a lot of the X-men lore. It's not a hard build but it is a big build. If you don't love doing stickers I don't recommend this build it has a lot of stickers.
