I started with the Ecoflow Delta Pro, and after seeing the quality and the real use case scenarios, I decided to get another with the Extended Batteries as well as the Smart Home Panel. With the 22KW I can now run my fridge, freezer, lights, outlets, microwave, mini split AC unit and more for about 6 days in case of an outage! In addition adding solar panels will help top off the batteries if needed and the Ecoflow gas generator is also ready to be used if needed. Completely love everything about this system, easy to set up and works like a tank! Thank you Ecoflow!

Powers a Prevost Tour Bus!

For those of us in the music industry, besides your music gear, your Tour Bus is the single most important part of your life while on the road - and access to POWER is a huge concern while on the go and at gigs. And in the world of Prevost Tour Buses, even though they are considered the zenith of the range, the converters making them have been VERY slow to adopt Lithium battery tech. So we took it upon ourselves to do a total electrical system conversion in ours using the Delta Pro(s) as the heart and soul.
There used to be a time when running rooftop AC units on battery power was a pipe dream, but not any longer! We're able to run 3 AC units AT ONCE with our two Delta Pro units and a single smart extra battery (we really wish we had more smart extra batteries!). When combined with the 3960 Watts of solar panels being installed on the roof of the Tour Bus we'll be using both of the DPro's 1600 watt input MPPT charge controllers to soak in all that juice and become very nearly 100% OFF-GRID in our home away from home without ever having to touch the giant diesel generator in the underbay!
To add, we've been invovled in a HUGE renovation of our Prevost, and having the Delta Pro's to power the coach while working within (the generator was shipped away for nearly a year during this process) has been a HUGE help too! They power all of our tools and run AC units at the same time letting us work inside and out without ever skipping a beat!

Exceptional in every way

We bought the Delta Pro & an extra battery in the Kickstarter Campaign. Ecoflow did an awesome job communicating with the backers, being really transparent and responsive through the whole process.
The thing I liked the most was how well the packaging for the European version was. The Ecoflow arrived securely wrapped and fixed on a pallet.
The Ecoflow itself is very top notch from the design to the functionality. The shell is very sturdy and the display is very bright with all necessary features on it. We have the European version (240v) and so far there wasn’t a device it couldn’t power. It even worked flawlessly with our washing machine and our Sage Oven. It is a heavy beast but with the handle you can transport it. If stairs are involved make sure, two people are carrying.
We plan to use the delta pro on our boat in the near future, but also for camping trips and Festivals too. Working in the European movie industry I will definitely use it for movie sets as well.
I can’t wait to see what Ecoflow has in store for us next - I’m very happy with our setup so far.

There was an outage that affected my house and the entire block for a couple of days. Good thing I had recently bought my Ecoflow Delta Pro. What a lifesaver! We were able to keep lights on, some essential appliances, fans during the day, heater at night. Best purchase that I've made in a long time.

Very good BUT

You get the basic chords no extensions and if you want to expand just be aware of how expensive the batteries are. Very good,BUT Just be aware of how heavy the system is and if you want solar panels you’ll have to buy extra wiring if you put more than one panel on it in parallel or daisy chain and have some kind of extension wires

I like this because its plug and play, its pricey but if you build your own and factor in time, money, safety and portability this is the best option for me.

No Adapter or Solar Panel Cord Included
on August 15, 2023

After much research online and watching lots of videos, I purchased the EcoFlow Delta Pro, Smart Dual Fuel Generator and 400w Solar Panels. I purchased the units not as a bundle but within weeks of each other as this is what my budget allowed. The units are excellent quality so far, however, the first time I tried to charge my Delta Pro with the generator, I discovered that the adapter plug that’s required to attach the genset to the unit via the Infinity port does NOT come with either the Delta Pro or the Smart Generator.
A few days later, I decided to charge my Delta Pro with the EcoFlow 400w solar panel array only to find out that the solar panels didn’t include the “solar panel to xt60i” cord! Insert head explosion. It’s ridiculous that EcoFlow does NOT communicate this well and even more insane that these inexpensive items are not included…even if they increased the price to compensate (hence the 3 stars for Ease of Use rating). It’s not about the money, it’s the inconvenience and stupidity of having to hound-dog the basic necessities to make this stuff work together as the system it’s portrayed to be. I would still purchase this brand but EcoFlow needs to stop splitting hairs and sell the adapter plug with the generator and the adapter cable with the solar panels. Had this been a clearly known factor up front, I would’ve simply added them to my orders to save the hassle and frustration.

Quiet and capable home backup power!

I live in a rural area and suffer through at least a few multi-day outages every year. The worst one was during an ice storm right before Thanksgiving a few years ago that left us without power for a week and a half. Coming home to what feels like a cold campsite daily living off whatever you can make on a natural gas cooktop and warming yourself by the fireplace is not my idea of a relaxing evening. Add to that, my neighbors Generac’s taunting me with their loud engines all day and night. After that, I decided that I was going to do some research on the best option and spend the money on a system so that I’d never live through that again.
I had a 10 circuit manual transfer switch installed at my home by an electrician. It allows me to plug in my 7500w gas generator or my 2 EcoFlow Delta Pros and 2 extra batteries via the dual voltage hub. This setup allows me to primarily run the quiet EcoFlow system at night and use the gas generator to re-charge my EcoFlow system during the day, or use it as the ultimate backup if needed.
I have the following on my switch: Water Well Pump, Furnace/thermostat, Garage (internet modem location), basement, bathroom, kitchen (includes fridge, freezer, cooking appliances, lights), living room (TV, work from home office), master bedroom. The EcoFlow handles all of that with no issues. During my first test day, I took a long hot shower and had my furnace cranking on a 19 degree PA night. Ran my lights, TV, internet as usual and woke up the next day with plenty of power left. Coffee was brewed and the house was warm. Obviously, during a real outage, I’d be a bit more conservative on what I use to save the batteries a bit, but the point is that it’s capable of getting you through the night and beyond.
I have tested the EcoFlow system and have found it to be able to power my home reliably and realistically for a little over 24 hours without needing to be recharged. I maintain my setup by running a monthly “fire drill”, connecting my EcoFlow system, shutting off the main breaker, turning on the transfer switch, and living as I would during an outage for a day. The next day, when my EcoFlows get down to about 20% left, I turn the main power back on, fire up my generator, and recharge the EcoFlows.
Having a transfer switch installed and using the EcoFlow combined with a gas generator IS EXPENSIVE. Even on sale, this system is NOT cheap. However, it is still slightly less expensive than what I was quoted for a Generac full home natural gas generator installation. What I like about it is the fact that you can quietly power your home at night, have multiple refuel/recharge options, and most importantly, you’re not at the mercy of the power company, natural gas company, and the Generac repairman when your expensive unit ultimately fails. This setup allows me to plug and play anything strong enough to power my switch if anything happens to fail. You can’t do that with a Generac. My area has also had natural gas issues from time to time with low/no pressure. Again, that renders your Generac useless.
I plan on buying another battery or 2 during one of the sales this year. I kind of regret not waiting for the Delta Pro Ultra to be released and buy that, but I am happy with this system. It’s disappointing that EcoFlow hasn’t made an easy adapter to connect the Delta Pro Ultra and Delta Pros. I know you can do it with the smart panel, but I already have a transfer switch that works perfectly fine. If you’re young and capable of maneuvering them and plugging things in and operating a transfer switch, this is a nice system. I’m so happy it’s on wheels! It would be nice if some of the cords, including the ones that are used to re-charge the units and the ones that connect the battery to the main unit, were longer. I am really hoping the price on this equipment continues to become more reasonable so people like me can have an affordable arsenal of backup power stored in their home for the next disaster that the power company didn’t prepare for and cannot fix in a reasonable amount of time.
