Delta Pro with 2 battery and the smart generator

I purchased the entire system (delta Pro plus 2 batteries) including the smart generator. I am impressed with the capacity, but very disappointed that I am not able to use the smart generator with both batteries hooked up. I have to physically disconnect 1 of the extra batteries to be able to use the smart generator. Consequently the second extra battery does not get charged. This to me is not a complete stand alone system! I may as well could have saved the cost of the smart generator and use one of my Honda 1000 to charge the main unit and the 2 batteries, since I have to manually switch plugs. This is a 10k purchase and i am very disappointed in not being able to use the smart generator on the entire system!
This is a beast when it comes to power and reliability! The installation was very simple and connecting the device to my phone using the application was not complicated. I did the first charge from 30% to 100% with no issues and the time it took was the same reported on the very bright screen. My next step is to install my solar panels and the transfer switch. I am still waiting for the availability of the EcoFlow transfer switch. I am also looking forward getting a battery pack.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my Ecoflow setup (so far…). I’m so glad that the dual power hub finally came in. I also purchased a generator cord to back feed my electrical panel and I can literally power anything in my house (especially my well pump, which requires 240 volts). I also have a whole house automatic propane standby generator and a gasoline portable generator. The beauty of my Ecoflow system is that it provides a third option for power, but also makes the other two options better by allowing me to “store” power during the day and use it at night (two benefits: my fuel [propane or gasoline] will last longer, and it will be silent at night). Next step: get some solar panels…

We lose power all the time and I needed a backup system for those moments we lose power from a few seconds to a few hours and maybe help with offsetting my monthly bill.
After the last hurricane and being without power for over a week and having to refill my generator every 11-12 hours I needed to find another way.
I looked into many name brands, found out my insurance would drop me if I put solar panels on our roof so I needed to come up with another plan.
I didn't need a full system, or have a system where the local electrical company could remotely turn off my system, but needed a system in the middle that could also be portable.
So I found this things called solar generators and started looking into them, all the companies have there own +/- and EcoFlow was the winner for all the things I needed.
From the install 3 months ago we have lost power 2 times, ones for almost 2 minutes and other for around 3 1/2 hours. My wife and I didnt even know we had lose power until we had a phone call asking if we had.
My answer, no idea maybe, let me check my APP.
I finished phase 1 3 months ago with a Home Control Panel, 1 Delta Pro 3.6 and 4 solar panels and a double pull switch that makes it super easy for my wife to change to generator power to charge the Delta Pro when am on the road if needed.
The design below is my personal design that gives me backup for backup. I can recharge my Delta Pro via of:
- Grid - Solar - Generator
AMAZING product and I look forward to getting 1 more Delta Pro 3.6 and 2 Delta Pro extra batteries within the year with 4 more solar panels.
The only Con I see is, if a main Delta Pro goes out for whatever reason and you have 2 extra batteries your dead in the water. So you're better off getting 2 Delta Pros 3.6 per leg for the Control Panel and adding what you need from there so if your main units dies you can use the extra battery on the other leg giving you house power.
Highly recommended

Does exactly what it's supposed to do

This is the perfect solution for me as a backup power source. It has a large power reserve of 3600 Wh, and can be charged very quickly, including solar, wall outlet, or via an EV charging adapter. I've use it to power up my entire house during a power outage, and it worked flawlessly.
I'm only deducting one star because the iOS app does not reliably update the firmware, but it works after a few tries. No doubt this is something that they can fix in a future version of the app.

I have 2 Delta Pro's and they are great power stations. One is on emergency standby, or for use while camping. The other is used as a full time emergency power supply (UPS Mode) for my living room lights, television, and wifi router. A couple months ago, I experience a temporary loss of power but did not notice it. I recommend Ecoflow over the other brands of power stations.

Gamechanger for camping

The EcoFlow Delta Pro has been a gamechanger for us with our love to dry camp (and some of the campgrounds we prefer do not have hookups). With the solar panel you can purchase, you can recharge quite a bit if you have a sunny site and you'll certainly draw the attention of neighboring campers when you make some microwave popcorn of your AC unit kicks on in the middle of the night when normally gas generators would be required. We have also taken the battery with us to run a portable space heater tent camping or taken it to the baseball field to run a pitching machine so it's extremely flexible to have one of these for all the times you want real portable power.
Our biggest issue is keeping it safe since it's quite an investment - there is not really a good way to run a bike lock or chain through something solid. There's the handle but that seems easily broken to grab the whole unit. Perhaps they will come up with a security system?
The Delta Pros (2) cannot be used in bypass mode to allow Grid or Generator power to pass thru when the Dual Voltage Hub is being used. This prevents using the Delta Pro to feed a Sub Panel with 240VAC Split Phase as a UPS.
