I have the EcoFlow Pro (two of them) for a few months now. Unfortunately, I had one fail on me just under 2 months. I sent in a request to have this look into and got help via email and eventually I had the unit replace with a repaired/refurbished unit. Not really a good sign with a flagship product in my opinion. Here are two list of what I liked and what I did not so far.
What’s to like…
• Clear display and easy to understand
• Power storage capacity is large and still mobile
• 30amp service receptacle (NEMA 30R) for RV easy use
• Wheels and handle bar for easy moving around
• The ability to use it in conjunction with smart home panel to power my home in a power outage and Time of Use functionality
• The ability to use third party solar panels that I already own.
What’s Not to Like…
• If the unit fails in the inverter region… your dead in the water and the unit becomes a large expensive boulder.
• The Pro Extra batteries cannot be charged or used independently on their own. In my case one of my units had a catastrophic failure and I couldn’t use the two extra delta pro batteries rendering the useless.
• Cables to attach batteries to the main unit are a touch to short.
• A bit off topic warranty registration is a bit confusing and you cannot review registered products.
Overall, at the moment I am happy with my purchase and hope to use them in any chance I get.
I also look forward to receiving my EcoFlow Wave that I recently purchase. One suggestion on this product. You should include the Delta max extra battery cable so it may be used with the delta compatible batteries. Or at the very least a easy way to find it for purchase on your website. It doesn’t come up under accessories in your main page, but if you google it comes up for some reason. Here is the hyper link address "https://us.ecoflow.com/products/delta-max-extra-battery-cable" where I found it today.

This has really upped our boondocking game. We have the EcoFlow River Max, which gives us about a day of power for our camper van, running a sink water pump, mini-fridge, lights, and a pot or two of coffee. We just returned from our first camping trip with the Delta Pro and it allowed us to do everything we did with the River Max and more for nearly a week on a single charge.
The main appeal of the Delta Pro is the ability to power larger AC appliances. We now have a microwave, 5000Btu AC unit, and are considering an induction cooktop for our camper van. We have not done a full drawdown test on the AC loads yet, but I expect 6-7 hours of run time out of the Air Conditioner...maybe more if I cycle it.
With the larger draw items, we will need to recharge the Delta Pro on the go, which is the one area that could use some improvement.
When charging from a car outlet (12v) the Delta Pro seems to be pulling more amps than it should, and blows fuses (on the car). We had the same issue with the River Max, and EcoFlow was awesome about releasing firmware updates that fixed the charging problem.
I like how the app allows you to select the charging current from 4, 6, or 8 amps to limit the draw on thinner vehicle wiring. In our case, the Delta Pro will not charge above 4 amps from a 12v source, or it will blow a fuse (15 amp fuses). I believe the issue is that the charge (4amps x 12v = 50w) PLUS whatever DC load is being drawn from the Delta Pro (lights, fridge, fan) are all coming through the charging cable. So if I have 50w of charge coming in, and 150w of load, it appears that 200w is coming through the DC charge cable, when it should only be 50w. I'm really not dunking on EcoFlow about this, since we had the same problem when the River was new and their firmware updates fixed it.
Really though, charging this from 12v is silly. There are so many better and faster ways to charge this, and wow is it fast from an AC source!

I am currently getting 1,605 watts of solar power coming in to each of the DP's via 12 panels (2 x 6 panel arrays configured 3S2P)

This power station has a lot of features to help with getting power when you need it. I like that I'm able to set both the upper and lower charge limits, as well as the charging rate. That, combined with the fact that it uses LiFePo4 cells means this is going to last me a long time. The display is nice and crisp. I originally had some issues using my unit but EcoFlow support was able to sort it out. Overall the Delta Pro is very capable and has already saved me in a couple energy emergencies!

It’s good. But very expensive. Cannot run entire house on one but even a 10 circuit manual transfer switch that can power a lot of things will only stay powered for 53 min if using the entire 3600 KWH OF POWER! So need to purchase yet another unit extra battery to power things longer with 7200KWH CAPABILITY! That’s my disappointment with it. But it’s better than having nothing. Just can’t afford to keep purchasing more to power house which in a long power outage will work. Need to come up w a quicker recharge not by electricity. I have the 400W solar panel as well. Can’t use at night of course and not as quick as the electric charge.

So I have only used this for one 4 day weekend getaway with our travel trailer. But we weighed out the cost and ease of use and of solar versus the Delta Pro and this made so much more sense for us. We have a 31’ travel trailer and we had 9 people camping in our trailer. The Delta Pro was amazing. From 100% charge it lasted for one full day with about 35% left. That’s running lights, TV, coffeemaker, hair dryer and curling iron and charging phones and devices for 9 people. It never lagged in power. Lights or devices never flickered or hesitated. Super happy with it. So now we will our heed the Smart Generator. The combo will be the perfect combo. On our trip we rented a Honda 2000watt inverted generator to try it out first. But now we are convinced. It took 2.5 hours to charge the Delta Pro at 1800 watts. But then silence but you still had all the power you needed.
Also, I love how the display allows you to see exactly how many watts each device is using. And how a 30 amp RV cord plugged right in.

New life for old power tools

My Friends are all wanting one now. I ordered my Delta Pro from Kickstarter last year, arrived just before maple syrup season. So this year I loaned it to the sugar shack which normally runs on a gas generator for a couple weeks. Needless to say the lights stayed on, the sap kept running and the tunes kept going with no back ground engines. Received 4L of delicious maple syrup as a thank you, plus the good times boiling! I also farm so this unit has been priceless for repairs and barn Reno’s where I don’t have hydro service. Now I can use my larger power tool like they are cordless. Cut off saw, table saw, air compressor, even 110v mig welder can travel where ever my truck does. And charge cordless batteries, and phones and keep the music flowing all day long. Keeps LED lights going for days without needing a recharge. Priceless for some with stuff to do!
