Buttons only work intermittently

when pressing the buttons to turn various features on/off, they quit working. sometimes this means we cannot enter a temp for the oven, can't change the temp of the warming burner, etc.
we try to press them and they do not work, so sometimes can't even use the stove.
it is brand new.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stove is easy to use. I usually cook eggs and chicken while my wife does most of the cooking. When I do cook, the controls are easy to use and understand. The hot indicator tells me when I can clean it off. The design is sleek and nice.

App Update Made Smart Feature Useless

we didn’t need a new range but wanted the flexibility that one with wifi could provide. with our busy home, being able to preheat the oven for dinner while we are on the way home from work would be very useful. when we first got the range, we were able to do that. but then a few months later they updated the app and it appears they took that feature away. you can only control it from the app if the oven is already on. this completely defeats the purpose and has made us really regret what has become a completely unnecessary expensive purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
