Sure saves on $$s and does NOT use any natural gas

We puchaasdd as part of our energy conservation efforts since we believew PG&E Executives, BoD members & all their vulture Capitalist Hedge Fund Gangster Cronies should be behind bars for 25 years! Cuts down our gas consumpton a lot. Next will be 18x400W PV paneis, induction cooktop and heat-pump for our Lennox furnace.

Some Honest Thoughts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I appreciate this opportunity to share my “honest thoughts” about our newly purchased Bosch washer and dryer. Though each unit is quite lovely in appearance—both models are far too electronically sophisticated with superfluous features we will never use.
There's something to be said for the elegance, simplicity and reliability of the older Bosch washer and dryer we owned with their manual buttons and simple choices. Temperature: cold, warm, hot. Spin Speed: low, medium, high. Dryer: damp, dry, very dry. I understand the motivation to remain a step ahead of the competition, but some of these new electronic features are downright silly. Why not save money and manufacture a reliable appliance with fewer bells and whistles? Most of these new features are not important to consumers.
I also find it very difficult to dislodge the lint from your new lint filters. I fear the filter’s netting will prove far too fragile “to create lasting memories.”
I apologize for sending you such negative feedback, but feel strongly about these issues and thank you for providing this forum to share our thoughts.

Worst Dryer Ever takes over 8 hours to dry 4 items

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Takes ALL day to dry a few pieces. The stuff rarely gets warm. It is horrid. How can you call it a dryer? It is a Wetter! Poor service. The guy could not fix it. I keep posting negative feedback on social media until I get a dryer that works!!

great efficient dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been very happy with this dryer. Yes it takes a bit longer than a conventional gas-burning clothes-cooker, but once you're used to it, it's normal. Occasionally it will think clothes (or sheets) are dry, when they're not; in that case we clean the lint trap and run it on a "Quick 40" setting instead of sensor setting and it works. But it's off-the-charts efficient, quiet, and has lots of settings. My only suggestion for Bosch is to gear this more to normal US folks who dry mixed loads--we have to select "Extra Dryness" on the Cotton setting to get what we need, it's not a default.

over priced and under delivers

Requires a lot of cleaning, which we have done since day 1. It takes a long time to dry clothes and they come out in a tightly wadded up ball, supper wrinkly. We have tried all kinds of setting. My wife HATES the Bosch clothes washer and dryer. If we hadn't spent so much on them we would have already replaced them. To top if all off Bosch quality is what it used to be. I wasn't concern about the poor warranty because it is a Bosch. I should have been. Ours has been leaking for months and it is not even 3 years old.

Soft and Plush

It sounds like an ad, but my laundry comes out of the dryer smelling fresh and feeling soft and plush — a dream compared to my old dryer which required a couple of plastic balls to ensure clothing remained separated when tumble dried. In contrast, the quiet operation of the BOSCH is much appreciated. Love all the choices for drying different items.

Bosch Washer/Dryer

I am very unhappy with the Dryer. The settings do not work as they should and I have to keep adding time. The clothes come out a wrinkled mess even with the wrinkle block on. The Washer seems ok but the "clean drum" signal has come on twice now and we have only had it a short time. That means you either have to run it empty on extra hot or do a load of laundry on extra hot - which I never do. I would not recommend these to anyone.
